Community Schools Coalition of Monroe County

The Community Schools Coalition of Monroe County was launched in the fall of 2024. The Coalition has more than 100 member organizations and is guided by a 17 organization leadership council. The Coalition is working toward reaching the following objectives: 

  1. Leverage the Community Schools strategy to support all students and families to flourish in thriving communities

  2. Coordinate services for equity, effectiveness, and efficiency

  3. Share vital information and resources through cross-sector networks

  4. Use qualitative and quantitative data to identify strengths and needs in our communities

  5. Advocate at local, regional, state, and federal level for supports and resources critical to our children and families

  6. Increase understanding of, and commitment to, the Community Schools strategy across Monroe County Districts
