Trauma Responsive & Resilience Informed Care Training

NYS Office of Mental Health & NYS Trauma-Informed Network have developed a curriculum to serve as foundational training to improve shared knowledge and understanding to increase trauma-responsive, anti-oppressive practice change. This free training is split into six modules across six sessions.

About the event
NYS Office of Mental Health and NYS Trauma-Informed Network have developed a curriculum to serve as a foundational training, available across the state, to improve shared knowledge and understanding to increase trauma-responsive, anti-oppressive practice change. It is divided into 6 training modules, and we will cover 1 module per session for a total of 6 sessions. This training is free and will be held online via Zoom, and attendees who come to all sessions will receive a certificate of completion.
The modules are as follows:
- Introduction to Trauma and Toxic Stress
- Trauma, the Mind and Body
- Wellness, Resilience, and Healing
- Trauma-Informed Approaches
- Compassion Resilience
- Adopting the Practice
