Jill Roche Gomez

Jill Gomez is the Inaugural Executive Director of the Poughkeepsie Children’s Cabinet (PCC), which serves as a cross-sector backbone structure building a cradle-to-career system of services, supports and pathways for Poughkeepsie youth. She joins the PCC with over 15 years nonprofit leadership experience working with vulnerable youth focused on education equity, family-centered program design, and community building. Prior to moving to the Hudson Valley, Jill spent 15 years working alongside families and children in the South Bronx, supporting neighborhood strengths and creating educational opportunities. Jill received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh and Masters of Law (Ll.M.) in International Law and Human Rights from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands. She is passionate about building systems where all youth have exposure and access to find what sparks their curiosity.
